At Forthweb we design our web pages using as little code as possible. Where possible our websites are designed using HTML code that is W3C compliant. This means our web pages are easily indexed by a search engine like Google.
Not all the same
Remember not all Websites are the same. A website can be built in several different ways and it will look exactly the same when viewed on a computer screen.
Tables and Frames
Many Designers Use "Tables", or worse still "Frames" for the Layout of their Sites. They can create great looking, all singing all dancing websites. But what is the point if no one can find them on Google, or the pages are too slow to load on a screen.
Designs using Tables and Frames
Designing with tables is an easy option for many web designers. But tables use much more code and Google can have difficulty indexing sites built this way.
Frames combine two or more pages. What appears to be one page on your screen is actually two or three pages. One part moves whilst the others remain static. Frame sites are very difficult for Google to index. Remember Sites not indexed will not be listed and no one will find them on the internet.
At Forthweb we have been designing sites for several years and know what will work for you. We don't use Tables or Frames in our designs.
